Auf Konferenzen wie dem VisionSummit treffen sich jährlich Tausende, um sich (u.a) über soziales Unternehmertum auszutauschen. Neu-eingerichtete Professuren, neue Lehrangebote und neu-gegründete Fachzeitschriften wie das Journal of Social Entrepreneurship greifen das Thema in der Wissenschaft auf.
