Abstract

Enucleation is not only the oldest surgical procedure used to treat intraocular retinoblastoma but often the best option for advanced disease which has compromised the visual potential of the eye. This chapter will focus on specific technical issues related to performing enucleation for retinoblastoma, including some “surgical pearls” which have been very effective in the authors’ experience.
