Zusammenfassung

Rubin-Laser sind Blitzlampen-gepumpte Festkörperlaser , die monochromatisches Licht der Wellenlänge 694 nm emittieren. In Form eines leicht verständlichen, systematisch gegliederten Kurzlehrbuches werden physikalische Hintergründe, Therapie- und Anwendungsmöglichkeiten sowie aktuelle Modelle des Ruby-Lasers (Tattoo- und Pigmententfernung) vorgestellt, und auch die wirtschaftliche Seite wird diskutiert.
