Abstract

Describing complications of breast augmentation is not only a very demanding work but an extremely difficult and stressful activity, split between scientific accuracy, clinical evidence, and possible future outcome for surgeons, patients, and implant manufacturers. For teaching purposes, the author has made a simple and useful classification of breast augmentation complications.
