Zusammenfassung

Die klassische „Pflanzensoziologie“ von Braun-Blanquet erschien in 3., bedeutend erweiterter Auflage. Walters Darstellung der tropischen und subtropischen Vegetation liegt in 2., stellenweise entschieden veränderter Auflage vor (s. Fortschr. Bot. 24 123). Von den zugehörigen Vegetationsmonographien schrieb Knapp (3) den 1. Band, der die mannigfaltige Vegetation von Nord- und Mittelamerika vorwiegend aufgrund von Literaturstudien behandelt. Ozenda stellte die Vegetationskunde knapp, aber anregend in seiner «Biogéographie végétale» dar. Ein wissenschaftliches Taschenbuch über „Pflanzensoziologie“ verfaßte F. Fukarek. Die von F. Fukarek, Jasnowski und Neuhausel erarbeitete Gegenüberstellung pflanzensoziologischer Fachausdrücke in deutscher, tschechischer und polnischer Sprache enthält zugleich zahlreiche Begriffs-Definitionen.
