Abstract

The methods by which plant viruses can be transmitted from infected to healthy plants may be classified as follows:— a) by the agency of insects, b) through the seed, c) by grafting, d) by sap-inoculation, e) by miscellaneous methods, applicable to certain viruses only, such as by the agency of water, soil or air.
