Neben der beschleunigten technologischen Entwicklung ist es vor allen Dingen die Intemationalisierung der Märkte, die an Manager in Wirtschaft und Verwaltung neue Anforderungen stellt. Initiieren, organisieren, fuhren, kontrollieren, bewerten und andere Managementaufgaben vollziehen sich nicht mehr in kulturell relativ homogenen Umwelten, sondern unter kulturell sehr heterogenen und divergenten Bedingungen.
