Zusammenfassung
In diesem Buch ist eine Vielzahl von Prognoseverfahren dargestellt. Obwohl dabei, wie Mertens im einleitenden Beitrag bemerkt (und begründet), “auf eine hierarchische Systematisierung verzichtet” wurde, handelt es sich — dem Titel und der Zielsetzung des Buches entsprechend — zumeist um quantitative Verfahren. In vielen betriebswirtschaftlichen Anwendungen — auf die sich die folgenden Betrachtungen konzentrieren — spielen jedoch auch qualitative Methoden eine wichtige Rolle.
