Zusammenfassung

Das CODASYL-Committee hat in den letzten Jahren die meisten größeren Datenbanksysteme untersucht [2] und schließlich einen eigenen Vorschlag zur Erweiterung von Cobol zu einer Datenbanksprache gemacht[3]. Mindestens ein Hersteller ist dabei, diesen Vorschlag durchzuführen.
