Abstract
Out of the ferment of recent discussions and publications, one fact which has emerged clearly is that postdoctoral training in some form is here to stay. It has been gaining ever wider attention as a desirable, perhaps even necessary phase in the development of the clinical psychologist. Consider, for example, some of these signs of the times.
