Abstract
Pulmonary complications have emerged as one of the major problem of allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (ITT). Interstitial pneumonitis is the most well-]mown complication; however, there is also increasing evidence to support the view that obstructive lung disease can be present in BMT recipients (Rodriguez-Roisín et al, 1984; Ralph et al, 1984; Wyatt et al, 1984). We report here the main pulmonary clinical and functional findings observed in 25 consecutive patients submitted to BMT during an 18 month-period, 20 of whom associated some form of acute and/or chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD)
