Abstract

The purpose of a connecting circuit is to connect one device of a certain sort with another device of a different sort. A selector, together with the relays which operate it, is in fact a connecting circuit. In this case a locking circuit is used to stop the selector at the right time, as described e. g. in Fig. 155 of Chapter 9.
