Zusammenfassung
Äthanol hat schon in geringen Konzentrationen einen pharmakologischen Einfluß auf das Zentralnervensystem, aber erst in recht hohen Konzentrationen scheint es pharmakologisch auf die Funktion der Leber einzuwirken. Da es als Substrat an den oxydativen Prozessen teilnimmt, wirkt Äthanol schon in geringer Menge auf den normalen Metabolismus der Leber ein.
