Abstract
As long as there is no causal therapy of coronary disease, treatment of coronary insufficiency can only be symptomatic and prophylactic. Animal experiments by Vater et al. [4] demonstrated that nifedipine causes a rapid, long-lasting increase of coronary blood flow.
