Zusammenfassung
Seit vor fünf Jahren die Ursache von AIDS aufgedeckt worden ist, haben intensive weitere For-schungsarbeiten den Charakter der Erreger weitgehend entschlüsselt. Genauere Kenntnisse liegen inzwischen über Morphologie, Genomstruktur und Replikationszyklus von HIV vor.
