Zusammenfassung
Ein 9 jähriges Mädchen erhielt wegen einer schweren Dermatomykose in unserer Ambulanz eine orale Behandlung mit Griseofulvin (Likuden M). Nach gutem Anfangserfolg bei Serumkonzentrationen des Griseofulvin von 2,5 mcg/ml kam es 14 Tage nach Behandlungsbeginn zu einem erneuten Aufflackern der Hauterscheinungen. Die Serumkonzentrationen von Griseofulvin lagen bei einer erneuten Kontrolle bei 0,9 mcg/ml. Zwar ist für Griseofulvin bekannt, daß es im Sinne einer Enzyminduktion seinen eigenen Metabolismus im Rahmen einer Langzeitbehandlung zu beschleunigen vermag, so daß dadurch die Serumkonzentrationen absinken und der therapeutische Erfolg nachläßt. In der Regel geschieht dies jedoch erst nach mehreren Wochen Behandlung.
