Zusammenfassung

Unter dem Namen Sturge-Webersche Krankheit beschrieben Bergstrand, Olivecrona und Tönnis in der im Jahre 1936 erschienenen Monographie „Über Gefäßmißbildungen und Gefäßgeschwülste des Gehirns“ ein Krankheitsbild, dessen charakteristische anatomische Veränderungen in einem Naevus vasculosus der Haut, gleichseitigen angiomatösen Mißbildungen am Augenhintergrund und homolateralen entsprechenden Mißbildungen in der weichen Hirnhaut, weiterhin in mehr oder weniger starken Veränderungen der den angiomatösen pialen Mißbildungen anliegenden Hirnabschnitte (Atrophie und Verkalkung) bestehen.
