Abstract
This Journal lost its Mentor when Heinz Götze died on the evening of March 2nd 2001. “Mentor” — in Homer’s Odyssee this was the friend of Odysseus. Heinz Götze was our friend, teacher and counsellor over many decades, in particular when our ship threatened to wreck.
