Summary
Bleeding from the central cardiovascular system involves the risk of fatal consequences. The anatomical relationship shows the passage of bleeding into the thorax, into the mediastinum and into the pericardial sac. In the case of hemopericardium, thoracotomy is preferable to pericardial puncture because compression of the heart impairs diastolic filling and cardiac output.
Zusammenfassung
Blutungen an zentraler Stelle des kardiovasculären Systems bergen immer die Gefahr katastrophaler Folgen. Die topographischen Beziehungen bahnen der Blutung den Weg in die Brusthöhle, ins Mediastinum und in den Herzbeutel. Die Frage Thorakotomie oder Punktion ist heute zugunsten der Thorakotomie beim Hämoperikard entschieden, da die kardiale Kompression zu einer Beeinträchtigung der diastolischen Füllung des Herzens und zu einer mangelhaften Auswurfleistung führt.
