Résumé
La coelioscopie opératoire, technique privilégiée de la chirurgie gynécologique jusqu’en 1980, se généralise rapidement à tous les domaines de la chirurgie abdominale. Les avantages de cette technique ne sont plus à démontrer: traumatisme chirurgical minimal, diminution de la morbidité, réduction du temps d’hospitali-sation, diminution des douleurs postopératoires, amélioration du préjudice esthétique (Harvey, 1992).
