In dieser kurzen Übersicht werden folgende Punkte diskutiert: (1) Inzidenz und Pathogenese der schwangerschaftsassoziierten venösen Thromboembolien. (2) Konservative Therapie der tiefen Venenthrombose in Schwangerschaft und Puerperium. (3) Prophylaxe der venösen Thromboembolie bei Risikopatientinnen.
