Résumé

Les tumeurs malignes de la vulve touchent 1,9/100000 femmes/an et représentent 3–5% des cancers gynécologiques [1–3]. L’âge moyen de 47 patientes, que nous avons traitées à Lausanne entre 1971 et 1986, est de 75 ans. Si l’on se réfère à la littérature, les patientes souffrant d’un carcinome épidermoïde ont 70 ans et plus, alors que celles qui présentent un mélanome ou un sarcome ont respectivement 55 ans et 42 ans [1,2].
