Zusammenfassung
Bei dem Durchgange des elektrischen Stromes durch einen Leiter wird stets ein Theil der elektrischen Energie in Wärme umgesetzt. Die Gesetze, nach welchen diese Umsetzung vor sich geht, hat zuerst James Prescott Joule festgelegt.
