Der Beeinträchtigung der Funktion eines chronisch deformierten Gelenkes und damit des Leistungsvermögens des Kranken liegen drei Symptome zugrunde, deren Ausmaß den verbliebenen Wert des geschädigten Gelenkes bestimmen:

    Die Einschränkung der Beweglichkeit = Kontraktur
