Abstract

In this presentation, I would like to report our clinical results of long-term dialysis and discuss present problems. In the past 24 years, 1650 patients have been treated chronically by dialysis in our hospitals and satellite hospitals; 480 patients have died. The cumulative survival rate was 62% in the 10th year after starting dialysis therapy and 50% in the 20th year after starting dialysis therapy.
