Zusammenfassung
1928 veröffentlichte F. Duran-Reynals (23) die Wirkung eines aus normalem Tierhoden extrahierten Stoffes auf die Infektion von Kaninchen mit Neuro-vaccine. Diese Wirkung bestand in einer gesteigerten Ausbreitung des infektiösen Materials am Orte der Injektion dieses Stoffes. Da sich durch gleichzeitige Injektion von Farbstoffen mit diesem Hodenextraktstoff leicht nachweisen läßt, daß der Farbstoff weiter ausgebreitet wird, seine Diffusion gewissermaßen erhöht wird, oder daß die Permeabilität des Hautgewebes vermehrt wird, so wurde dieser Stoff in der Folgezeit als Diffusionsfaktor oder Permeabilitätsfaktor bezeichnet. Ledingham und Barrat (64) schlugen vor, solange es nicht möglich ist, diesen Stoff seiner Natur nach sachlich zu bezeichnen, ihn Reynausschen Faktor (R. F.) zu nennen, und wir wollen im folgenden der Einfachheit halber bei dieser Bezeichnung: R. F. bleiben. Es ist seitdem über diesen R. F. ein erhebliches Schrifttum entstanden, das bisher von Douglas McClean (74) und von Duran-Reynals (32) eine zusammenfassende Darstellung erfuhr. Da dem R. F. ein erhebliches biologisches Interesse zukommt, andererseits die bisherigen Arbeiten in Deutschland keine Beachtung fanden, so dürfte ein zusammenfassendes Referat über den Reynalsschen Diffusionsfaktor angebracht sein.
