Zusammenfassung
Wir haben 1958 auf der Tagung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie erstmals über subdermale Implantate von Composite grafts berichtet. Da das Epithel, wenn die Transplantate erst 3 bis 6 Wochen nach der Einpflanzung freigelegt wurden, meist stark maceriert war, pflegten wir die Implantate schon nach 14 Tagen freizulegen oder aber einen Wundschlitz zum Implantat hin unvernäht zu lassen oder eine dem Epithel aufgelegte Kunststoffmembran mitzuimplantieren. Die von uns seinerzeit gegebenen Anregungen sind, der Literatur nach zu beurteilen, bislang kaum beachtet worden.
