Zusammenfassung

Der Hypogonadismus beim Manne wird im allgemeinen in einen primären, hypergonadotropen und einen sekundären, hypogonadotropen Hypogonadismus unterteilt, je nachdem, an welcher Stelle die verantwortliche Schädigung eingesetzt hat. Bei der primären Form ist der Hoden selbst primär betroffen, während bei der sekundären Form der Hoden erst sekundär, primär dagegen ein übergeordnetes Zentrum (z.B. Hypophyse, Nebenniere) geschädigt ist.
