Zusammenfassung

Die Elektrokardiographie bildet heutzutage die Grundlage der Diagnostik von Herz- und Kreislauferkrankungen. Aus dem Nachweis bestimmter Zeit- und Formveränderungen lassen sich Hinweise über die Erregungsausbreitung von Vorhof und Kammern, die Erregungsrückbildung, Störungen des Herzrhythmus usw. gewinnen. Vor allem für die Diagnose einer koronaren Minderdurchblutung, eines Herzinfarktes, einer Perikarditis, von Reizbildungs- und Reizleitungsstörungen ist die elektrokardiographische Diagnose unentbehrlich geworden.
