Zusammenfassung
Der vorliegende Beitrag befaßt sich mit den durch Anwendung mikromorphologischer Untersuchungsverfahren gewonnenen Kenntnissen über die Struktur des normalen Haarfollikels, über seine Strukturwandlungen im Ablauf des cyclischen Haarwachstums und über Topographie und Schicksal einiger seiner Gewebsbausteine. Auch der Altersformwandel der Kopfhaut und die Morphologie epilierter Haarwurzeln werden in ihm besprochen. Gefäß- und Nervenversorgung und die Entwicklung des Haars bleiben ebenso wie die drüsigen Anhangsorgane des Haarfollikels — die Talgdrüsen — unberücksichtigt bzw. sind nur erwähnt, wo es die Geschlossenheit der Darstellung erfordert. Im übrigen muß dazu auf die entsprechenden Kapitel dieses Bandes verwiesen werden. Soweit im Rahmen unseres Themas abzuhandelnde Fakten bereits an anderer Stelle in diesem Ergänzungswerk ausführlicher erörtert sind, wird hier — unter Hinweis auf den betreffenden Beitrag — auf eine erneute Besprechung verzichtet.
