Zusammenfassung

Wenngleich primäre, bösartige Knochengeschwülste keine Seltenheiten sind, und sie im allgemeinen sowohl in den Röhrenknochen als auch in den platten Knochen annähernd gleich häufig vorkommen, so gibt es doch gerade unter den letzteren solche, die recht selten der Sitz primärer Sarkome sind; dahin gehören vor allem die Knochen des Thorax, in erster Linie das Sternum.
