Abstract
The solution of dynamic problems of plastic deformation of structures by the use of a model of a perfectly rigid-plastic material involves a number of troublesome points. Some of these lie in overcoming purely mathematical difficulties, others are associated with the determination of the limits of applicability of a given model for one or another material.
