Zusammenfassung

Die zahlreichen Elemente, die im Tierkörper nachweisbar sind, lassen sich zwanglos in 2 große Gruppen einteilen:
  1. 1.

    in solche Elemente, die einen nicht unerheblichen Prozentsatz des Organismus ausmachen, nämlich Ca, K, Na, Mg, Cl, P und S (wenn von C, H, O und N, als Bausteinen der organischen Substanzen, abgesehen wird);

     
  2. 2.

    in solche Elemente, die im Organismus nur in kleinsten Konzentrationen aufgefunden werden und die man daher unter dem Begriff der Spurenelemente zusammenzufassen pflegt.
