Zusammenfassung

Von Defektbildungen ist der teilweise oder vollkommene Balkenmangel zu erwähnen, der gewöhnlich mit Formabweichungen der angrenzenden Windungen oder bloß mit feineren Veränderungen der Großhirnrinde vergesellschaftet ist. Der Defekt kann symptomlos bleiben, bedingt aber wegen der begleitenden Störungen meist geistige Abnormitäten.
