Zusammenfassung

Robert Meyer (22) berichtete 1930 erstmalig über einen virilisierenden Ovarialtumor, der neben den morphologischen Kriterien eines Arrhenoblastoms auch Strukturen eines Granulosazelltumors enthielt und führte für diesen Tumor die Bezeichnung „Gynandroblastom“ ein (cf. 15). Infolge der Schwierigkeit, wenig differenzierte Sertoli-Leydig-Zell- und Granulosa-Theca-Zell-Strukturen eindeutig voneinander zu unterscheiden, kann die Zuordnung „gemischter“ Ovarialgeschwülste zu dieser Tumorklasse problematisch sein (12, 23, 35). Aus diesen Gründen können von den seit 1930 mitgeteilten etwa 60 Fällen bei kritischer Überprüfung offenbar nur 19 Fälle als sichere Gynandroblastome betrachtet werden (11, 12, 15–17, 20, 21, 23, 23a, 29, 30, 33, 35).
