Zusammenfassung

Als iatrogene Strumen werden jene Schilddrüsenvergrößerungen aufgefaßt, die bei euthyreoten Patienten durch eine nicht indizierte Verabreichung von schilddrüsenwirksamen Präparaten erzeugt werden, oder die als Nebenwirkung gewisser Medikamente auftreten, wobei die Indikation zur Behandlung ein von der Schilddrüse unabhängiges Leiden darstellt.
