Zusammenfassung

Seit Monteggia im Jahre 1814 den nach ihm benannten Verrenkungsbruch des Ellbogens (Bruch der Elle im proximalen oder mittleren Drittel mit Verrenkung des Speichenköpfchens) zum erstenmal beschrieben hat, sind zahlreiche konservative wie operative Methoden für die Behandlung dieser Verletzung angegeben worden. Die Ergebnisse jedoch waren sehr verschiedene.
