Carrier Communication Networks

The term “carrier communication network” refers to the entirety of the message channels of an extensive carrier communication system. Depending on the type of traffic, a further classification is made into “telephone networks” consisting of a number of “telephone districts”, “teleprinter networks”, and “telemetering networks”. A “carrier frequeny district” includes transmitters and receivers tuned to the same frequency.
