In diesem Kapitel werden die technischen Ausführungsformen der elektrooptischen Umwandlungseinrichtungen im einzelnen beschrieben. Die Darstellung beschränkt sich auf die eigentlichen Abtastmittel (wie z. B. die Bildabtaströhren); die Beschreibung der gesamten Anlagen (Kameraanlagen und Filmabtaster) folgt im 2. Teilband dieses Buches.
