Zusammenfassung

Der Sauerstoff ist eines von den meistverbreiteten Elementen der Erde. In der Luft sind 23 Gew.-% Sauerstoff. Die Meere enthalten etwa 86 Gew.-% und die Erdkruste ungefähr 48 Gew.-%, so daß man damit rechnet, daß die Erde zur Hälfte aus Sauerstoff besteht. Die Ergebnisse der Spektralanalyse zeigen, daß auch die Sonne nichtgebundenen Sauerstoff enthält.
