Der humorale Inter-alpha-trypsininhibitor als Inhibitogen für sekretorische Proteaseinhibitoren. Serumkonzentrationen bei Erwachsenen und bei Kindern mit Atemwegserkrankungen

Abstract

The monovalent proteaseinhibitor inter-alpha-trypsininhibitor, present in low activity in human serum, may be the inhibitogen for different secretory, low molecular, polyvalent inhibitors. Kallikreines may be the enzymes liberating these inhibitors. The inhibitogenconcentrations in the serum were measured from adult patients with chronic bronchitis and from children of different age-groups. The adult patients had no deficiencies as consequence of their airway disease. In contrast inhibitogendeficiency was found in the serum of praemature and newborn children with respiratory distress syndroms and infections. The normal production rate of inhibitogen is not yet obtained in these children. Thus an inhibitordeficiency will be the result of a high consumption of inhibitor during inflammation or of an excessive liberation of kallikreines.

Zusammenfassung

Der schwache monovalente, humorale Proteaseninhibitor Inter-alpha-trypsininhibitor ist als Inhibitogen für verschiedene sekretorische, niedermolekulare, polyvalente Inhibitoren aufzufassen. Kallikreine wirken als inhibitorliberierende Enzyme. Die Inhibitogenspiegel im Serum wurden bei erwachsenen Bronchitikern und Kindern verschiedener Altersstufen bestimmt. Bei den erwachsenen Patienten konnte kein Inhibitogenmangel als Folge der Erkrankung festgestellt werden. Im Gegensatz dazu sind Inhibitogenmangelzustände bei Früh- und Neugeborenen mit Atemnotsyndrom und entzündlichen Erkrankungen sehr häufig. Die Inhibitogenproduktionsrate ist im frühen Kindesalter offensichtlich noch nicht voll ausgeprägt, so daß bei erhöhtem Inhibitorverbrauch oder exzessiver Kallikreinfreisetzung ein Inhibitogenmangelzustand resultiert.
