Zusammenfassung
It has been shown in previous reports (1, 2) that 6 α-methyl-17 α-acetoxyprogesterone presents high progestational activity both for subcutaneous and oral administration: in fact the new derivative is nearly 10 times more active than progesterone in the Clauberg-test for endometrial stimulation and in the increase of the carbonic anhydrase activity of uterine mucose.
