Zusammenfassung

Die Mycoplasmataceen gehören zu den am längsten bekannten Mikroorganismen. Aber erst in den letzten Jahren finden sie aus unterschiedlichen Gründen ein nunmehr rasch wachsendes Interesse, insbesondere auch seitens der Humanmedizin. Seit Ende der zwanziger Jahre hat eine kleine Gruppe von Bakteriologen und Mikrobiologen unsere Kenntnisse über die auch heute noch recht geheimnisvollen und problemreichen Kleinlebewesen schrittweise erweitert. Hierzu sei auf die aus reicher Erfahrung schöpfende Monographie von E. Klieneberger-Nobel (1962) verwiesen [69].

Es werden 33 Bilder als Diapositive demonstriert, von denen nur 10 ausgewählte Darstellungen veröffentlicht werden. Auf die Zusammenstellung der Legenden wird verwiesen.
