Zusammenfassung

Glomeruläre Erkrankungen sind zumeist entzündliche Prozesse, die sich klinisch als isolierte Hämaturie oder Proteinurie, als nephritisches oder als nephrotisches Syndrom manifestieren [9]. Das nephritische Syndrom ist durch Hämaturie, Proteinurie und Zylindrurie charakterisiert und kann zu Verminderung des glomerulären Filtrats, zu Azotämie, Oliguire oder Anurie, Ödemen und Blutdrucksteigerung führen. Es wird durch exsudative, proliferative oder nekrotisierende Prozesse ausgelöst (Glomerulonephritis im engeren Sinne). Beim nephrotischen Syndrom steht die Permeabilitätsstörung der glomerulären Basalmembran im Vordergrund, die zu einem hochgradigen renalen Eiweißverlust führt. Zusätzlich können sich, je nach Ausmaß der glomerulären Schädigung, nephritische Symptome hinzugesellen, so daß es fließende Übergänge zwischen beiden Verlaufsformen gibt. Im Kindesalter verlaufen die Erkrankungen häufig mono- oder oligosymptomatisch.
