Zusammenfassung
Eine normale funktionelle Bewegung entwickelt sich stets aus der Kombination der Bewegungsmuster der Extremitäten und der synergistischen Rumpfmuskulatur (Kabat 1960). Der für die motorische Planung verantwortliche Abschnitt des Gehirns erzeugt und organisiert diese Bewegungsmuster. Der Mensch kann nicht während einer Bewegung einen zum Bewegungsmuster gehörenden Muskel isoliert entspannen. Dies bedeutet aber nicht, daß der Mensch seine Muskeln überhaupt nicht einzeln entspannen kann, sondern verdeutlicht nur, daß die selektiven Bewegungen des Menschen aus groben bzw. einfachen Bewegungsmustern entstanden sind (Beevor 1978; Kabat 1950). Diese synergistischen Kombinationen der (normalerweise) 3-dimensional verlaufenden Muskelkontraktionen formen die PNF-Muster zur Fazilitation.
