Zusammenfassung
Die Kreislaufeinrichtungen zur Durchströmung der Haut weisen eine unverkennbar organeigene Gestaltung auf. Diese leitet sich her aus den verschiedenen Funktionen der Haut als Integument, als Konstanthalter der Körpertemperatur, als Ausscheidungsorgan und als Sinnesorgan. Mit speziellen Durchströmungsanlagen in Gestalt von Blut- und Lymphgefäßen ist jedoch nur der mesodermale Anteil der Haut ausgerüstet. Die vom Ektoderm abstammende Epidermis wird lediglich von einem System intercellulärer Spalträume durchzogen, durch die der „Gewebssaft“ fließt.
