Abstract
Input—output tables tend to be rather out of date in a number of countries and particularly in Belgium. A quick estimate of a recent table using all available data is therefore a very necessary as well as helpful step in modeling industrial development. Such an updated input—output table can be vastly improved by studying the major input coefficients in the table. The research reported here represents a part of this update process.
