Zusammenfassung
Frontalhirnläsionen können u. a. zu Verhaltensänderungen, Störungen von Aufmerksamkeits- und Gedächtnisfunktionen sowie zu Störungen von Problemlösefähigkeiten (Abstrahieren und Kategorisieren) und von exekutiven Funktionen führen. Diese Defizite sind einer neuropsychologischen/verhaltensneurologischen Therapie zugänglich, verlässliche Daten über die differenzielle Indikation, Effizienz und Effektivität der einzelnen Behandlungstrategien fehlen jedoch noch. Die weitaus meisten Patienten, bei denen gestörte Exekutivfunktionen im Fokus der Rehabilitation stehen, haben ein SchädelHirn-Trauma (SHT) erlitten (Bartels u. Wallesch 2000). Mazaux et al. (1997) konnten zeigen, dass Defiziten exekutiver Funktionen für die Rehabilitationsprognose nach SHT entscheidende Bedeutung zukommt.
