Zusammenfassung

Die Entwicklung von Fibrose des Lungengewebes ist eine der bedeutsamsten Folgeerscheinungen von Staubinhalation. Dieses Risiko ist noch immer in vielen Industrien gegeben, und Quarz allein oder häufiger als Bestandteil von Staubgemischen ist wahrscheinlich der schädlichste Staub, soweit es den Arbeiter betrifft.
