Abstract

The aim of this research was to design and test concepts of Computer Supported Cooperative Work, especially concepts for workflow management systems in order to fundamentally improve business processes in enterprises. In this research report, these concepts were applied to administrative processes. These principles for Computer Supported Cooperative Work and workflow management technology can be used fir manufacturing and other application areas. This research starts, therefore, from the hypothesis that on this level of abstraction, the structures of manufacturing and administrative processes can be considered comparable.
